In 1991, the actor took over narration duties on the British version of Thomas and the Tank Engine and Friends from The Beatles’ Ringo Starr. Michael then went on to narrate 13 series of the show, which was later shortened to Thomas and Friends.
From 1991 – 2012, Michael brought life to some of our favourite engines like Thomas, Percy, Gordon, Edward, James and more.
