News broke last year that Henry Cavill will be quitting his role as Superman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and fans have been pitching about who should take over the superhero mantle!
A huge number of fans have been asking DC to make Michael B Jordan the next Superman!
The Black Panther star revealed that he is definitely open to play the role, but he doesn’t want to play Clark Kent…
To make things clear, there are many versions of Superman out there and the one Michael wants to play is Calvin Ellis aka Kalel, a superhero and president of the United States in his universe.
"It's tough. I hate being a business man and understanding both sides of the situation."
"There is a huge upside to it, but being under that microscope, being picked apart and compared to so many different versions of Superman... I would rather do something original. I'll be Calvin Ellis."
Although fans have been imagining for Michael to be another Superman, specifically Val-Zod, the last surviving Kryptonian to survive in his universe and was adopted by Kal-El’s parents.
It will definitely be interesting to see a new Superman that isn’t Clark Kent on the big screen, especially if Michael B Jordon is playing the role!
Would you like to see Michael as Superman? Let us know who’s your ideal Superman!
