On Sunday, Twitter user Ayen Alambat (@ayenalambat) shared photos of her little brother, Aaron, at his birthday party.
The boy was left disappointed when none of his classmates showed up to his Stranger Things-themed birthday party.
Aaron’s party came complete with a Stranger Things birthday cake, a large glass drink dispenser of “Demogorgon blood”, and strings of coloured lights hung up on the walls similar to the style seen in Season 1 of the show when Will used the lights to communicate with his mother from the Upside Down.
The tweet was retweeted over 40,000 times, and eventually reached the eyes of Millie Bobby Brown aka Eleven, and her cast mate Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin.
Aaron also received support from many other Stranger Things fans:
Ayen revealed in a later update that although Aaron’s classmates missed out on the fun, the rest of Aaron’s family was there to celebrate and sing him “Happy Birthday”.
