In just a few years, the two sisters have taken over catwalks all over the world, turning runways into their playground. Sure, their beauty helps, but modelling isn't just about looking good and strutting down a platform. We're pretty sure having a former supermodel mum, Yolanda Hadid, works in their favour too!

Lucky for the rest of us who don't have exclusive access to a supermodel mentor, Yolanda is sharing her experience and knowledge with everyone else. If you're thinking about trying out modelling as a career, here are 5 advice straight from the famous momma:
#1 Don't let it take over your life
"Modelling is a tough job. However, it’s just a job so don’t forget who you are as a human being. Take time out to disconnect from the demands and focus on simple things to reconnect with what’s important to you."
#2 Stand out
"There are always going to be prettier girls out there. Set yourself apart by being authentic, working harder and being kind and respectful to others. People will remember kindness more than just another pretty face!"
#3 Have a great time
"Enjoy the moment and have fun. If you’ve worked hard to achieve something, take the time to appreciate it, or treat yourself for a job well done."
#4 Stand up for what you believe in
"Use your voice well. As celebrities and influencers, you have a responsibility to be a role model and advocate for change, especially in this age of social media. Make it count."
#5 Appreciate your biggest fan
"Your mum will always be your biggest fan. Treasure that relationship."
