By now, it shouldn’t come as a surprise the wonders of technology and how it has simplified the task of connecting one person to another.
Yet, it continues to amaze us when we see how people use technology and the Internet to bring people together to achieve a common goal. That goal is of course, our duty to vote in the upcoming GE14 and to that end, a website called pulangmengundi.com has been set up by Malaysians to help Malaysians vote.

The goal of pulangmengundi.com is simple: Connect people who are seeking help travelling home to vote with people who are willing to provide either car-pooling services or travel subsidies.

Within 36 hours of its launch on 13th April 2018, the party-neutral platform has seen more than 300 drivers offering carpool rides and donations of up to RM4,400 collected to aid close to 400 voters.
To make things even easier for those seeking and providing assistance, the Pulang Mengundi website also has a detailed ‘Guidelines & FAQ’ section and an email contact (pulang.undi@gmail.com) for any enquiries and support requests.
With so many initiatives by thoughtful Malaysians in place, there’s really no reason not to perform your duty as a Malaysian citizen and to vote in the upcoming GE14.
