The fans of DC Extended Universe (DCEU) have always been divided on Ben Affleck playing the role of Batman. And for those that liked Ben as Batman, we have some bad news for you.
Ben Affleck will reportedly stop playing Batman in the DCEU, and won’t be appearing in the upcoming The Batman movie, which is set to be released on June 25th, 2021!
The Batman was initially supposed to be portrayed and directed by Ben Affleck, before he stepped down from the directing role.
The director of War for the Planet of the Apes, Matt Reeves was then brought on to direct the movie and scrapped Ben’s initial script entirely.
