With all the news surrounding COVID-19 going around, it’s hard to not get disheartened by the number of positive cases and deaths that unfortunately keep rising around the world.

We’re here to share a little bit of good news in these hard times by focusing on those who have recovered from the virus.

According to John Hopkins Resource Center, 376,096 people (as of 11th April, 6AM) around the world have recovered from the virus so far and we have the frontliners who are working tirelessly, to thank for that!

Health officials however have said that the number of people who have recovered is likely to be “far higher” when you take into consideration that many people with the virus haven’t been tested or diagnosed.

So far, there have been 1,691,719 confirmed cases of COVID-19 around the world.

As per the data, China has seen the most recoveries so far with 77,791recorded. Spain has the second most recovered with 55,668 cases, Germany follows with 53,913 recovered, Iran with 35,465 and Italy with 30,455.

In Malaysia, 1,830 people have recovered from the virus so far.

Though many have recovered, it is still important for people all over the world to stay home to stop the virus from spreading further.

By being responsible and staying home, we are helping to not only flatten the curve but to also allow our incredible healthcare workers to keep up with their jobs and hopefully prevent healthcare systems all over the world from getting overwhelmed.

With so much scary statistics regarding the virus out there, it is important to remind ourselves of the positives, especially when it comes to knowing that our efforts of staying home is actually making a difference in the world.

Be sure to keep playing your part by staying safe, staying home and practicing social distancing!
