That’s what we’ve been seeing all over internet right now and everyone is loving the movie that stars Sandra Bullocks!
Based on the book of the same name, the story follows Malorie and two children who are trying to get to safety despite the threat from an unknown adversary that leads you to your death if you set eyes on it.
To protect themselves from these unseen creatures, the trio don blindfolds as they make their way to safety.

And like so many before them, a new internet challenge was born! In the latest craze, people have been blindfolding themselves while going through obstacles or trying to reenact a scene from the movie!

Due to the popularity of the challenge, the official streaming service that houses Bird Box issued a warning. The warning reads: “PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE.” They explained that they are unsure how the challenge started but hopes that nobody “end up in the hospital due to memes.”
