All National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) borrowers who have accumulated an outstanding balance after the one-year grace period are urged to update their personal information, or it’ll be understood that they don’t wish to delay their repayment.
Wan Saiful Wan Jan, PTPTN Chairman, said that the information will help the corporation recognise borrowers who earn less than RM4,000. This information includes their occupation, salary, phone number and email address.

“They have until July 25 and then an audit will be conducted by PTPTN. If it is not done within the stipulated time, we will assume that they don’t wish to delay the repayment of their loans and they will not be included in new policies with regards to the matter,” he told reporters.
As part of Pakatan Harapan’s election manifesto, the governments pledges to allow fresh graduates who earn below RM4,000 to delay repayment of their loans.
