Due to a systems disruption that occurred last night at KLIA, several critical services were affected.
MAHB noted that the glitch had affected internet connection, flight information terminals, check-in counters and the baggage handling system.
Because of this, passengers were advised to arrive at least four hours before their designated departure times to avoid any complications. Passengers have also been advised to check-in via the respective airlines’ mobile app or website.
“Since the disruption, our team has been working around the clock, not only to rectify the situation, but also to minimize the inconvenience caused by passengers,” MAHB said.
The technical issues have been expected to last throughout the day.

A new update from the airport operator’s Twitter account has noted that all systems except for the Flight Information Display Systems at klia2 are currently fully functioning.
For more information, passengers can approach the airport’s “CARE Ambassadors” or call 03-8776 2000 for details about your flights.
If you’re still worried about any technical problems that could occur at the airports today, we’d advise you to arrive at least four hours before. Just in case…
