It has been more than two weeks now since a youth football team and its coach became trapped in a flooded cave in Thailand. Following a recent rescue mission that saw a team of 18 professional divers safely extracting eight of the teammates, four more boys and the coach remain to be rescued.
Since the news of the catastrophe started spreading on social media, a lot of help by divers, engineers, military personnel and volunteers have been pouring in from all over the world. Billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk have also sent a kid-sized submarine to help.
The authorities are also hard at work, coming up with several rescue options…
