With the current ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, most of us are in our homes to help stop the spread of the virus.
But there are those out there who are risking their lives to ensure that the public comply with the Movement Control Order. We’re of course talking about the police officers on duty during this time.
One police officer on duty however has gone beyond just helping humans and has won the internet’s heart in the process.

A stray puppy found himself in a bit of predicament when it fell into a monsoon drain next to a roadblock and couldn’t get out.
Corporal Mohd Azad, who was on duty at the roadblock, decided to help out the puppy by lowering himself into the drain to rescue it and return safely to his doggo parents who were seen by the side of the drain.
In a video that has gone viral, the police officer is seen attempting to gain the terrified black puppy’s trust in order to save it before it strayed too far down the drain.

Not too long after, the police officer managed to lift the puppy out of the drain and back to the two stray dogs who were eagerly watching the rescue operation.
Believed to be the puppy parents, the two doggos were wagging their tails in delight and gratitude as soon as the puppy was on safe ground!
“He’s not only a frontliner to humans,” said Ezam Bin Ramli who uploaded the video. “Even though it’s just a puppy, but it is still Allah’s creation. Just look at how the puppy’s guardians are thanking him.”
The Royal Malaysia Police’s Facebook page congratulated Cpl Azad’s – who’s attached to the Shah Alam police headquarters’ Mobile Patrol Vehicle unit – for his actions and good deed.
Netizens all over are praising the police officer’s actions and he definitely deserves all the love!
