Sounds like a horrible day right? Well, it only took one policeman to turn his entire day around.

A viral video from Thailand has got our hearts melting after what appeared to be a depressing situation turns out to be delightfully heartwarming instead.
According to Thai news website, Ejun, a teenager had gotten caught while speeding by police officer, Police Lance Corporal Kanokpan Puttapong.

The policeman told Ejun that he had decided to arrest the teenager for speeding but was caught off guard when the boy started crying. He asked the boy what was the problem and he then opened up to the officer.
The officer was told that it was actually the boy’s birthday and he was heartbroken to find out that the teenager’s family did not seem to care that it was his special day.
The boy then left his brother’s condominium in anger after feeling neglected, the policeman said.
Feeling sorry for the boy who was crying profusely, the officer dropped by the nearest convenience store and bought a cake for the teenager. He even put on candles for the boy to make a wish!

According to Ejun, the birthday boy was let off with a warning and was not arrested.
This act by the police officer definitely restores our faith in humanity!
