There are certain arts that connect with us when we look at them and one of the artists who is known for her beautiful artwork has unfortunately passed away, leaving many fans heartbroken.
Qinni, real name Qing Han is a Canadian artist whose art has inspired many in the past. The artist has passed away after battling cancer at the age of 29.
She started gaining followers in the 2000s on DeviantArt and became one of the internet’s most successful artist with over 2 million followers on Instagram.
“I remember wanting to be just as skilled and well known as some of the artists here and it’s crazy to almost be able to see myself as their peer now. Sometimes I look back and I still reel at everything,” she wrote back in 2017.
Qinni announced that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on 28 December 2019 and revealed that the doctors said she had “about a year or a year and a half left.”
So...I have stage 4 Fibrosis Sarcoma cancer.....Doctor says I have about a year, year and a half left, so.. ...I'm not really sure what to say tbh. I've been cracking jokes on twitter but, well, tbh I'm pretty stressed haha... though, I'm already pretty nihilistic so I really just need to get over my mortality haha...easier said than done tho xD. Uhh....well, I guess I don't have to worry about recycling anymore, my emission's about to get cut real short lmao. Still gotta crack jokes or it's just sad man lol • that's all I have to say right now. I appreciate all the support on twitter and people becoming my patron is just so sweet, thank you guys so much. I apologize my condition might only get worse before it gets better though, I still have a lot of pain problems right now actually...i think that's the worst part of this though, is the pain. god. I'm so tired. • edit: I don't JUST have cancer, I ALSO have a severe heart condition and I'm on a LOT of heart medication which I need to live, so please refrain from making medical advice unless you're an oncologist, cardiologist, or both. Honestly. Please please.

She has also been struggling with a genetic heart condition, which required four open heart surgeries and she relied on medication to stay alive.
Fans and fellow artists mourned her passing after her family confirmed that she had passed away on Monday with the hashtag #galaxiesforqinni.
Qinni has always been known for her positivity, friendliness and how she always tries to help other artists.
"I just like talking to people," she said. "If someone starts an engaging conversation starter or points something out, I’d try to respond if I’m not busy."
You might recognise some of her work in the past, or perhaps this meme sketch that she did in the past.
Thank you for your beautiful artworks and inspiration over the years. Rest in peace, Qinni.
