Malaysia has always been known and blessed as a country filled with many different cultures and traditions, and that’s one of our favourite things about our homeland besides the food.
But what we especially love is when we see a beautiful mix of cultures and traditions and that is exactly what this Sabahan couple decided to showcase during their wedding day!

A Malay couple from Kota Kinabalu recently tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony that saw the couple crossing cultural bonds by venturing into a more unique option for their wedding costumes.
For their wedding reception, Ag Mohd Syafiq and his now-wife, Syafiqah, decided to give everyone a night to remember when they opted to appear in custom-made traditional Chinese outfits rather than the traditional option, and the results are stunning!

Wedding photographer Vencent Thiam, shared photos of the lovely couple in their take on traditional Chinese wedding garbs that has everyone talking about how lovely and diverse Malaysia is.
“My wife’s father is a Chinese Muslim, her mother is from a mixed ethnicity of Chinese and Bajoa, while I am Bruneian, so it is a very multicultural combination,” Syafiq said.
And a multicultural combination it definitely is!
