Actors and actresses usually put in quite some work to play their roles in movies, and Avengers: Endgame’s Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth is no different!
Sources revealed that Scarlett had to fast for 15 hours a day and trained with an Olympic-level weightlifting regime while Chris had to eat 3,500 calories to bulk up his body for Avengers: Endgame!
After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, Black Widow went through a change where she was barely sleeping in search for a way to bring back half of the universe including the members of the Avengers that were dusted by Thanos.
To achieve that physique, Scarlett’s meal time was restricted and she fasted a minimum of 12 to 15 hours a day and followed the “carb cycling” diet where she would eat high carbohydrate and low-fat diet or the other way around some days.
Chris Hemsworth on the other end had to bulk up for his role and ate 3500 calories or more a day on red meat and focused in High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and High Intensity Resistance Training (HIRT)!
But we all know how Thor turned out in the movie 5 years after (spoiler’s) death and we ended up like this (don’t scroll down if you haven’t watch Avengers: Endgame yet).
