Okay, this isn’t actually new news, but we just found out about it while procrastinating on the Internet (sssh, don’t tell our boss), and we’re mindblown.
So, you know the chicken nuggets from McDonald’s that you’ve been snacking on? The ones that come in random shapes? Well, they aren’t random at all. They actually come in 4 distinctive shapes!

According to a 2013 report by Business Insider and other news articles, the fast food brand’s nuggets are made in the shapes of a boot, bell, bone and ball.

Errr, we don’t really see the resemblance—except maybe for the boot—but after being coated in batter and fried, it's logical to have the actual nuggets that end up on our plates be slightly off-shape, causing all of us to mistake them as random blobs of meat.
Still, we're surprised about this 4-shape discovery. To confirm it, we did what any curious cat would. We went to the nearest McDonald’s drive-through and got ourselves some nuggets:
OHEMGEE. IT’S REAL. Did you already know about this?!
