When we’re in a vehicle, many of us tend to nod off if we’re not in the driver’s seat.
But this Singaporean teenager took things to another level by almost waking up in a different country!

The sleepy student had boarded a bus in Singapore with the intention to head to school but he fell asleep and ended up at the Woodlands Checkpoint instead!
His teacher shared the teenager’s experience on Reddit and started off the post by thanking the Singapore Police Force who saved the boy’s day by sending him all the way back to school.

According to the teacher, the student had taken SBS service 170 which goes all the way to Larkin Terminal in JB, with a couple of stops along the way in the Bukit Timah and Woodlands area. This bus also passes by a few schools on its route.
The teenager had fallen into such a deep sleep that he bypassed all the stops and only woke up when passengers were required to disembark at the Woodlands Checkpoint.

The student’s surprise adventure didn’t end there. In a desperate attempt (and in a moment of panic), he did the first thing he could think of – joining the immigration queue to enter Malaysia.
Of course, when one travels to school, one doesn’t usually travel with their passport. And of course, this student didn’t have his but he still waited in line with the only form of identification he had - his student pass.
The teenager then tried to slot his student pass into the passport scanner and of course, it got stuck in the machine.

Fortunately for the confused student, some police officers were around to help him out and they decided to take him straight to school themselves!
Obviously, the teenager was late to school but at least he ended up somewhere familiar and not lost in Malaysia.
Shoutout to SPF for sending my student to school after he overslept on bus 170 from r/singapore
