Students in Standard One, Two and Three are in luck!

The Minister of Education, YB Dr Maszlee Malik, just announced that exams for lower primary school students will be repealed next year! Instead, the exams will be replaced with more objective assessments.

Following the tweet, members of the public took to social media to share their joy about the ruling, believing that it’ll take some weight off the young students’ shoulders.

Exams only make up one part of the country’s education system, and shouldn’t be used to define a child’s potential or future. What are your thoughts on this move?
