The Nine-Nine squad has lost a beloved squad member and we’re devastated.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans will most definitely know Captain Holt’s adorable and beloved corgi, Cheddar.
Sad news came our way last night when it was reported that Stewart, the corgi who took on the role as the Captain’s best sidekick, has passed away at the age of 13.
Stewart’s owner shared the sad news on Instagram and noted that after spending the day at his “favourite place” aka the beach, and enjoying a picnic with his family, the corgi passed away “peacefully.”
The post read:
“My precious boy Stewart crossed the rainbow bridge today. We went to the beach (his favourite place) where he frolicked in the surf and then enjoyed a picnic lunch of In & Out burgers. We relaxed in the sun and just enjoyed each other’s company. Our veterinarian met us there later and Stewart went to sleep peacefully in my arms while listening to the sounds of the ocean. He was a one in a million kind of dog, he was my supaah staah.”
BRB, crying.
While Cheddar has been played by different corgis in the past, Stewart has held the role the longest and pawed his way into all our hearts.
The Internet, like us, is devastated by the loss of Stewart the corgi.
RIP to the #1 Alpha, the goodest boy and the best Supaah Staah. We’ll miss you.
