Stray Dog Who Kept Stealing Stuffed Unicorn Gets Gifted It By Animal Control

Those of us with pets will know that sometimes all our best friend needs is a stuffed toy to keep them happy.

 

One stray dog however, was so desperate for a stuffed purple unicorn that he kept stealing it from a store.

 

But this isn’t a crime that went punished as animal control decided to gift the pup the stuffed toy instead of punishing him.

A Dollar General store in Kenansville, North Carolina, USA, had a unique problem.

 

They were continuously visited by a large male stray dog who would repeatedly attempt to steal a stuffed purple unicorn from the business.

 

Sisu, the adorable dog, had reportedly attempted his theft five times before the store decided to call animal control to collect the canine.

 

The Duplin County Animal Control officer however, didn’t just pick up Sisu. They also bought the purple unicorn for the dog who just desperately wanted a friend.

“This is what happens when you break into the dollar general consistently to steal the purple unicorn that you laid claim to but then get animal control called to lock you up for you B & E and larceny but the officer purchases your item for you and brings it in with you,” the animal control’s official Facebook page wrote.

 

Sisu’s adorable actions soon went viral with many wanting to adopt the pup and his unicorn.

 

 

“I’m so glad he got his toy he so desperately wanted!” a user commented on the post. “Props to the responding officer for making that fur baby happy and making animal lovers every where smile when reading of her kind act! I hope he finds a loving family!”

 

“They could have just given him the toy!” another user said. “At least the nice officer bought it for him. Praying his owners are found or he finds a loving home.”

 

Luckily for Sisu, he and his purple unicorn have indeed found their forever home after going viral!

 

 

We’re so happy that Sisu has found his forever home and we hope his new owners will shower him with all the stuffed toys he ever wants!
