Supergirl fans, get ready. The superhero is ready to take on the most notorious villain in the Worlds of DC, Lex Luthor.
TV network, The CW, announced that the villain will finally appear on screen during Season Four after several years of dancing around his absence in the present timeline. Lex will face Supergirl and his own sister, Lena, in the current season.

"We're beyond excited to introduce… Lex Luthor to Supergirl and to weave him into our story this season," executive producers Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller announced.
"We've talked about having Lex on the show since its inception and we're excited to have him finally arrive. We can't wait for him to shake things up in National City and watch him go toe to toe with not only Supergirl, but his sister Lena Luthor," they added.
The casting for the role of Lex is currently underway, TVLine clarified. The villain will definitely not be making his debut in the 'Elseworlds' crossover that will include Tyler Hoechlin's Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch's Lois Lane in December.
Although technically Lex was briefly seen once before in the show, it was just a flashback sequence in which the villain was portrayed as a young boy by Aidan Fink. His debut will see Lex all grown up and ready for battle when he arrives in National City.
