‘Supernatural’ Is Coming To An End With Season 15

15 seasons, 14 years, 2 brothers, 1 series.

Fans of Supernatural will be sad to know that the series surrounding the Winchester brothers is coming to an end with its 15th and final season.

Sam, Dean and Castiel aka Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins took to social media on Friday to share the sad news with their fans.

“We just told the crew that though we’re very, very excited about moving into our 15th season, it will be our last,” Jensen shared in the video announcement. “We wanted you to hear from us that though we’re excited about next year, it will be the finale, the big grand finale of an institution.”

The series is currently in its 14th season and will have 20 episodes in its upcoming final season. Executive producers Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb released a statement saying, “It is now most important to us to give these characters that we love the send off they deserve.”

Series creator, Eric Kripke took to Twitter saying, “#SPNFamily please remember: shows end. But family is forever. That never changes & that’s what you’ve created here. All my love & thanks to the cast and crew & most of all you, the family.”

Members of the Supernatural family also took to social media to express their love for the series.

Supernatural fans have also taken to Twitter to share their sadness and gratefulness for the series that changed their lives forever.
