Honey bees don’t just make honey. They’re also the reason that the plants we use for food continue to grow.
Unfortunately, the honey bee population is currently in decline due to modern industrial farming methods and loss of their habitat.
To help combat the decline of the honey bee population, BEEcosystem created a cool and stylish system of wall-mounted observation hives.

Basically, you can keep a thousand pet honey bees safely in your living room and watch them live their honey bee lives.

The hexagonal hives can be mounted inside the home, and easily connect together to expand your hive space. The bees come in and out of your observation hive through secure tubing that fits through any window. Basically, a cat flap door, but for bees. So they can go out and explore your neighbourhood and then come back to the safety of your home!

The system is designed with safety as a priority, so that the people who have no idea how to take care of bees (basically: us, you, everyone we know) don’t have to think about angry bees stinging them while they sit on the sofa in their living room with a whole bee hive less than a meter away from them.
The observation hives let you invite bees into your home, essentially creating an urban environment for them, which is not only good for their population, but also helps increase people’s understanding and importance of their role.

The best part is being able to watch the bees in action from the comfort of your living room, as they do their amazing work and build up their colony.
Bonus: you can even harvest their honey!
