Now that Pakatan Harapan has been sworn in, it’s crunch time for our new government! Here’s a list of 10 promises that they wish to fulfill in 100 days of power.
1. Abolish GST
To reduce the people’s cost of living by introducing a number of Peduli Rakyat initiatives.
2. Subsidise petrol

To stabilise the cost of petrol and bring about petrol subsidy in stages.
3. Eliminate the debts of the FELDA workers

To rid the FELDA workers of their skyrocketing debts.
4. EPF for Housewives
To introduce an EPF scheme for housewives.
5. Standardise the minimum wage
To standardise the minimum wage nationwide and begin the process of increasing the minimum wage.
6. Postpone the repayments of PTPTN loans

To postpone the payment of PTPTN loans for borrowers with salaries less than RM4,000 a month and abolish the blacklist system of borrowers.
7. Investigate scandals
To establish a Royal Commission to investigate the scandals of 1MDB, FELDA, MARA and Tabung Haji, and review the organisational structures of their top managements.
8. Uphold the status of Sabah and Sarawak
To establish a Special Committee in Cabinet to see Perjanjian Malaysia 1963 through.
9. Skim Peduli Sihat
To introduce the Peduli Sihat scheme by providing RM500 subsidy for basic treatment at private clinics.
10. Review mega projects
To launch a detailed review on the mega projects that have been granted to other countries.
These main objectives are to ease the burden of the people, reform the political and governing system, create a disruptive economic growth that is fair and just to all, and build a more inclusive, moderate and
glorious Malaysia.
We think the promises sound good, and we’d like to see them be fulfilled. Government, permission granted to blow us away!
