Our watch has ended.
As the final scenes of the last episode of Game of Thrones rolled on, our hearts were a little heavy with knowing that the end was almost upon us. And now, here we stand on the other side of the series finale, our hearts, heavier than ever.
But our hearts aren’t the only ones breaking as the series finally comes to an end.

While we’ve been seating and watching GoT come to life on our screens, the cast have spent the past 10 years of their lives, living it.
Of course, an emotional goodbye was expected and the cast didn’t let us down as they said their final farewells to the series that was their lives for almost a decade.

After the last episode aired, a video was released that shared the cast’s love for the series and for the fans who stuck with them through all eight seasons.
Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Kristofer Hivju, John Bradley, Isaac Hempstead-Wright and Gwendoline Christie all shared their thoughts as the final curtain drew.
Sophie also took to her personal Instagram to share her own parting words for the series and her beloved character, Sansa Stark.
Even Emilia shared her own personal piece in which she paid tribute to Danaerys Targaryen.
