The popular online multiplayer battle royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is a survival game that requires you to eliminate other players, and be the last one standing at the end of the game.

A video of a PUBG match was uploaded online recently, and what happened in the match will make you laugh and touch your heart at the same time. It has since received more than 500,000 views and almost 5,000 shares!
Here’s what happened in the game:

A player spotted another player in the game, but instead of killing him off, decided to let him live. He even guided him to the location with weapons and ammos. The players made a “gentleman’s promise” to not kill each other.

The two players were communicating through the voice chat. Player A then decided to leave and wished Player B good luck for the rest of his game.

After leaving Player B and roaming around in the game for awhile, Player A realised that Player B has been following him all this time! Eventually, he told Player B that he can stick around if he promise not to open fire (because that will reveal their location to other players).

So, the two players worked together and survived the game, eliminating other players in the process, until…

… they became the only two players left in the game, which means one of them has to die in order for a winner to be crowned.

[Flashback] During the duo’s journey, one of the players asked the other about the last time he ate “chicken” (chicken = victory, because a message saying “winner, winner, chicken dinner” appears if you win the game). The other player revealed that his last win was so long ago, he couldn’t even remember when. To this, his game partner replied, “It has been that long huh?”

The conversation then led to a dramatic ending where the player (the one who asked about the last victory) decided to let the other player win. He said, “I’ll give you this chicken” then proceeded to detonate a grenade, killing himself after saying, “We’ll meet again.”
Some netizens commented that the video reminded them of how their bro, who fell in love with the same girl in school, decided to give up the girl for the sake of another bro. Major bromance alert.

Was the game play hilarious? Was it super dramatic? Definitely. But a lot of people were touched by the ‘oath between the two men’.
