Oh, durian, such a misunderstood fruit.
The King of Fruits has found a special place in Sweden. Halfway across the world, the durian makes its display in the Disgusting Museum, a museum that exhibits nauseating and disgusting food from around the world.

Also on display at the museum is Sweden's own surstomming—a canned, pungent raw sea fish, casu marzu—cheese with maggots from Sardinia Island, and cuy—a grilled guinea pig from Peru. The museum also features China's stinky tofu and Hakari—fermented shark from Iceland.
The first-of-its-kind museum is located in Malmo and will be opening its doors at the end of the month. Dr Samuel West from the museum said that he wanted to make the museum a new, fun and interactive attraction.
"You can smell, taste and in some cases, touch the food that is exhibited," he said. Dr Samuel added that he would bear the cost of replacing the food every day.
Do you think our durian belongs in the Disgusting Museum?
