Avengers: Infinity War was such a great movie, it got us right in the feels! Yet, it also left us super dissatisfied at the end. Recently, James Gunn broke our hearts when he revealed what Groot’s last line in the movie meant. This time around, Kevin is the one breaking our hearts…

MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD! Don’t continue with this article and save this for after you’ve watched the movie if you haven’t yet!

Now, at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, more than half of the characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) turned into nothing but ash after Thanos snapped his Infinity fingers.

So, it’s no surprise that fans were left with questions about whether the characters that turned to ash will come back to life or not (still not over Spidey and Groot’s death yet, btw).

Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, recently answered that burning question and nobody was ready for the truth…

“Whoever dies in Infinity War will stay dead.”

Yes, that was his answer.

Kevin Feige was asked if the characters would stay dead, considering that Marvel heroes usually find some way or another to come back to life.

“I could always list off the characters that we’ve killed in our movies that haven’t come back, but the big ones, which I know they’re looking at …”

He said, "I would just say, yes. People need to be careful what they wish for”

We are certainly not ready for this! Just think about Rocket Raccoon being the last guardian left… Wakanda without a king… and aunt May when she finds out about Spidey’s death. We just can’t…

We sure hope that this isn’t true, and that Kevin is just toying with our feelings! What do you guys think about his answer? Guess we can only find out when Avengers 4 is released next year, right?
