The series set the record for the longest continuous battle sequence in cinematic history with its third episode and they’ve now broken another important record in the Twitterverse.

The highly anticipated showdown between the living and the dead finally came to be in this week’s episode and we’re not the only ones freaking out about all the events that took place.
In fact, the Twitterverse came in full charge and garnered over 7.8 million tweets just about the episode! As reported in Variety, this made “The Long Night” the most-tweeted about episode in TV history!
