The Meaning Behind This Rose In The Lake Will Restore Your Faith In Humanity

A tweet of a rose in a lake went viral recently, and the reason behind it will make you cry and restore your faith in humanity.

What happened was, someone found a rose attached to a gate nearby a lake along with a note that was simply heartbreaking. It said:

"Please can someone throw this in the lake for me? My late husband's ashes are in the lake and I can't get to the lakeside in my wheelchair anymore + gates are locked — have to drive back up north tonight. Thank you." 

The rose was, of course, reunited with the person’s husband and the tweet said:

"No name or number left but whoever you are, rest assured your rose is in place in the middle of the lake.”

Many people were touched by the story, saying that there’s still hope in the world.

There are ways to make places in nature accessible to us too without having a negative effect on the local environment before I get people misunderstanding my point.

This person should have been able to leave the rose for their husband themselves. Not hope a stranger would take pity on them and do an act of memorial and grief they were trying to do for them.
