The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl fans, are you ready for "Elseworlds"?
Recently, the CW unveiled a new "Elseworlds" promo that's giving fans the smallest hints of what's to come in the three-part crossover event. The latest promo shows that the crossover will see the world our favourite superheroes, turned upside-down thanks to the machinations of Arkham Asylum doctor, John Deegan - played by Jeremy Davis.
From the video, it appears that LaMonica Garrett's Mar Novu/The Monitor has been tinkering with reality and refuses to undo the chaos he's inflicted. It appears that The Monitor has somehow gotten involved with a crazed human.
Although the new promo touches on the three-episode event, there is still a lot that remains unknown. What we do know is that the crossover will include the debut of Ruby Rose as Kate Kane/Batwoman. Appearances from Tyler Hoechlin's Clark Kent/Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch's Lois Lane and Cassandra Jean Amell's Nora Fries have also been noted.

During a Facebook Live, Stephen Amell who plays Oliver Queen/Green Arrow explained, "The crossover is ****ing bananas. It's crazy… I think that this will be the best crossover event that we do. And not just the best but the best by a really, really wide margin. And I think that last year was fantastic."
He continued, "'Crisis on Earth X', I think that's what it was called, that was pretty crazy and getting to play doppelgangers was pretty crazy. When Greg Berlanti first talked to me about why wanted to do crossovers, it was because it's for the fans. It's so people can watch characters and scenarios that combine their favourite things on TV or introduce them to new things on TV. But you also get this license to do things that we could never do in the vacuum - especially on Arrow - that we can never do in the vacuum of just our show."
