If you were on the Internet over the past weekend, you may have noticed a story going around about a RM10 note.
To sum it up, Hyza Ezany recently came across a RM10 note with a heartwarming/heartbreaking message on it, and she wanted to find a way to get the note back to its owner.
And thanks to the power of the internet, the owner has been found!!

Anne Malar Yesudass took to Facebook after contacting Hyza, to share that she had finally been reunited with her father’s last gift to her.
Now, with a message like “The last cash given by dad” written on the RM10 note, there’s definitely more to the story and Anne shared the significance of the note that warmed our hearts.
While being super grateful to Hyza for holding onto the note, she shared that it was the “most valuable thing of my life.”
Anne went on to tell the tale behind the note and said:
“This was given to me by my dad on 21st May 2010... I was 17years old that time... He gave me the RM10, when he send me off at school in the morning 7.10am... And unfortunately that was the last day n last time I met him in my life... He met wif an accident on that day.”
According to the post, she kept the RM10 in her purse close to her but unfortunately in September 2018, her purse was stolen along with the note in it.
Now, a year later, Anne has finally been reunited with the small piece that her father left behind.
We’re not crying, you are.
