It’s all about family and Disney+ seems to be bringing the Disney family closer than ever!
Recently, reports surfaced that the new streaming service will also be rebooting another one of our childhood favourites, The Proud Family!

Actress Jo Marie Payton, who gave life to Suga Mama with her voice on the original Disney Channel series, let it slip that the series would be returning with brand new episodes on Disney+ in 2020!
Speaking on an episode of Strahan, Sara and Keke, Jo revealed that there were in fact new episodes on the way.
“Yeah. Suga’s large and in charge, that’s all I’ve got to say – except for Suga Mama will be doing some new episodes come February,” she teased.
“Yes, on Disney+!” Keke Palmer added.

Back in August, Tommy Davidson – who voices Oscar Proud; told Where is the Buzz that the series was being rebooted.
The series that aired for three seasons from 2001–2005 featured the voices of Kyla Pratt as Penny, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy, Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Bouevardez, Karen Malina White as Dijonay, Orlando Brown as Sticky Webb, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey, and Tara Strong as twins Bebe/Cece and Puff the Poodle.
