Titled, The Walking Dead: Typhoon, the new novel will focus on a group of survivors that are trying to make their way through a country with a population of 1.39 billion people. Just imagine how many walkers that would be!
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the novel has been written by Time Salvager's Wesley Chu. The novel will also be one of seven novels that will be published by co-creator, Robert Kirkman's company, Skybound, in 2020.

He added, "That we can expand The Walking Dead universe with talented authors like Wesley Chu will allow walkers to truly become an even greater global phenomenon than ever before!"
