A luxury wax melt company in the UK is looking for a designated “Fragrance Tester” who’ll sniff out the best scents for their range of wax melts.

According to Sassy Shop Wax’s website, “the role will include smelling a variety of new wax melt scents that we are introducing to the range each months, using a complimentary wax melt burner that we’ll be sending your way.”

The successful applicant will then be required to provide feedback on the wax melt, including “how strong the scent is, how long it lasts and if it matches the name”, to help the company find the perfect scent.

The fragrance tester will also be able to make suggestions on how best to improve the scents if need be, and they can even suggest fun, fresh and exciting new scents for the company to add to their ever-growing range.

The lucky candidate will not only be send five newly-scented wax melt bars to test each month (for 12 months), but they’ll also be paid £24,000 (RM130,504) pro-rata!

“We think it’s important to get our fragrances right so no customer is left disappointed and we are looking for someone with a good nose to make sure our future products are top notch,” said Sassy Shop Wax founder Keely Parsons.

“With most of us now working from home this is the perfect opportunity – you know it makes scents!” she added.

Unfortunately for us, this dream-scented job is only open to those living in the UK but we hope this inspires someone to offer the same type of job here!
