Even though our watch has officially ended with the final episode of Game of Thrones, the love for the series that spanned over eight seasons has not stopped. (Not that we’re complaining.)
Don’t worry if you haven’t caught up with the final season, there are no spoilers here.

The seven kingdoms got a Malaysian twist when five musicians got together to give us the Malaysian Game of Thrones mash-up we desperately needed.
The talented musicians produced their very own traditional rendition of three popular compositions from the series and we can’t help but to sway along to the folksy Malaysian twist.
The group bring together classical instruments like the cello and violin, and pair them with traditional instruments like the gambus, gendang and seruling to set the hauntingly beautiful tones to Ramin Djawadi’s “House Of Greyjoy”, “House of Stark” and of course, the unforgettable opening theme of Game of Thrones.
Playing under the name, Mahakarya Studios MY, the group shared their cover on their social media accounts and received tremendous support for their Malaysian rendition.

We could have this cover on repeat, any day! What are your thoughts on the group’s Malaysian rendition?
