Alyssa Carson is a 17-year-old girl from Baton Rogue, Louisiana, who is undergoing training with NASA to become an astronaut! Her dream is to be the first person on Mars during the 2033 human mission to Mars.
She’s the first person to complete the NASA Passport Program by going to all 14 NASA Visitor Centres. She’s also the youngest person to graduate from the Advanced Possum Academy, certifying her to go to space.
Besides training and studying, Carson is also a public speaker who aims to draw interest to space exploration. She definitely has a bright future ahead of her.
