A 19-year-old artist cleverly reimagined the Riverdale cast as classic Disney characters and we're in awe!

André Manguba is a Filipino artist, who spends his time bringing together the best of both worlds. The artist transports characters like Archie Andrews and Betty Cooper and puts them in new settings as Disney heroes.

Speaking to Teen Vogue, André said: "I'm clearly obsessed with Riverdale and I loved Disney growing up. It felt like mashing up these two concepts together would produce something magical."

In one drawing, the artist portrayed Archie and Veronica as Hercules and Megara; and in another, he drew Betty and Jughead as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider! Each mash-up was inspired by the Riverdale characters' real personality traits.

"Bughead for example, gave me the same vibe as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Lili's strong-willed personality and femininity also matched Rapunzel's," he said. "Varchie reminded me of Hercules and Megara's relationship. Archie matched Hercules' heroic traits and just like Megara, Veronica had a sultry and dark side to her too."
