With Kuala Lumpur recently identified as the fourth most overworked city in the world, doesn’t the idea of being able to own three properties by the age of 34 sound amazing?

A woman from Japan did exactly that and we’re super impressed by her dedication to reach her goals.

When Saki Tamogami turned 18-years-old, she had a goal to but three houses by the time she turned 34. After 16 years of living on less than RM7 a day, she recently purchased her third house in May.

Japanese media outlet, Annneme, shared that Saki had a budget of 200 yen (RM7) a day for food and she stuck to her budget religiously throughout the period of time.

Surviving on a tight budget wasn’t easy but Sake noted that she would cook udon with vegetable that would only cost her 50 yen (RM1.97) on ingredients.

“As long as I can fill my stomach, what I eat doesn’t really make a difference,” she said.

When Saki turned 27, she bought her very first house in the Saitama Prefecture for 10 million yen (RM395,955).

Two years after that, she bought her second property for 18 million yen (RM712,719).

By the time she turned 34, her strict regimen allowed her to purchase her third property for 37 million yen (RM1.4 million), reaching the goal she set 16 years before.

At 29-years-old, Saki reportedly cut her own hair and sold it for 3,100 yen (RM122) to earn extra money.

On top of her current job in the real estate industry, the 34-year-old also earns a substantial side income from collecting rent from the three houses she owns.

Saki has also recently opened up a cat café called Café Yunaagi, that homes rescued strays and operates out of her third property.
