Quimera is a gorgeous cat from Argentina, whose unsual features are winning the internet.
Quimera is suspected to be a Genetic Chimera, a rare natural occurance where an individual is made up of cells from at least two different original eggs which have fused together to become a single organism.
Another theory is that she is a mosaic, a common occurrence in felines where one egg happens to have different active genetic expressions in its cells.
Only a DNA test could give us a definite answer. Either way, she’s absolutely gorgeous!
She’s built quite a following on Instagram. Her page is regularly updated by her human as she goes about her normal kitty life, completely unaware of her fame.
