We’ve certainly seen our fair share of weird and… unique foods, but now there’s a jelly that’s giving us the creeps.
Cicak-shaped jelly.
Yes. You read that right.
If you’ve got herpetophobia aka fear of reptiles like lizards and snakes, you probably don’t want to go further.

In a tweet that’s making its way around the Twitterverse, user @Hakusi_Katei has shared pictures of a uniquely shaped jelly.
Made out of konjac jelly, the small lizard can be seen floating in a jelly-like substance while in its individual plastic.

According to the Twitter user, their mother had sent them the unusual jelly so @Hakusi_Katei decided to include it in their meal.
Not gonna lie, the cicak does look adorable while it sits atop the finished meal but it does still give us shivers if we stare at it too long.
According to Fujitoshi, the unique jelly was created by a student from Yuki Minami High School in the Hiroshima Prefectual, and was made in shape of Japan’s “special national treasure”, the giant salamander.
If the cicak-jelly looks like something you’d be interested in, they’re selling for 216 yen (RM8.44) each but we’re not sure if international delivery is available just yet.
We’re still not sure if the cicak-shaped jelly is cute or creepy.
Would you get one of these if you could? Do you know someone who would? Share this with them!
