What would a hot pot inspired hot spring be like? Someone answered that question.
China has always been known for its quirky ideas but this one has raised it to a spicier level! A major city in southwest China recently opened a “hot pot hot spring” and it’s been attracting tourists from everywhere!

According to the Shanghaiist, the city of Chongqing is well known for its hot springs as well as its Sichuan-style hot pot restaurants. This novelty bathing spot decided to mix the two.
In order to make it look like an actual hot pot, the circular hot spring bath is divided into four sections, just like the four-sided metal pot. The hot spring’s water is coloured red using a variety of medicinal herbs.

What’s more? The hot pot hot spring also comes equipped with floating plastic vegetable like chillies and cabbages!

One bather reported that “It’s very comfortable and like a hot pot – it feels both numbing and spicy.”
Another major attraction that makes this spot totally Instagrammable is a pair of massive chopsticks that can be used as props!
