Forbes recently released its list of the 10 coolest cities around the world to visit in 2018, and Melaka is in that list!
According to the publication, Melaka is “Malaysia’s cultural beating heart”. More than just displaying a Malaysian culture, the city’s unique Dutch and Portuguese influences have also found their way into boutique hotels and restaurants peppered around the city.
It’s a cultural beating heart alright! It’s almost impossible to find a Malaysian who hasn’t taken a road trip to the Bandaraya Bersejarah for its culture and food—we cannot talk about Melaka without mentioning the food.
