Sometimes things at work can get super stressful and all you want to do is take a nap to recharge. However, the option of napping during working hours is frowned upon in many offices.

But what if it was acceptable take a nap during work?

One company has set out to make this dream a reality and they’re offering the perfect place to do it.

Greek design company Studio NL is setting out to revolutionise the idea of napping at work as one to be embraced instead of being frowned upon with the introduction of a nap desk.

The nap desk is aptly called “Working Hard” and we’re loving it.

The desk is made up of a regular work table that’s combined with a underlying compartment that folds out to reveal a bed inside.

The nap desk can be used by two people at once – one taking a nap underneath and one getting work done at the top. This not only saves office space, but it would also increase productivity, as we all know a nap can do wonders for the mind.

When not in use, the nap desp folds back to form one side of the desk.

“The main concept was to comment on the fact that many times our lives are ‘shrinking in order to fit into the confined space of our office,” the desk designers shared on Archilovers.

“This desk could be used for a siesta or for a few hours of sleep at night on those days when someone struggles to meet deadlines.”

The nap desk is not available to the public just yet but you can bet that we’ll be on the lookout when it finally is!

Are you for or against the idea of napping at the office? Would you love this nap desk? Let us know!
