How much do you love pizza? Is your love for pizza worth RM2,392?

A popular pizza place in Dublin, Ireland - called Pinhead's Pizza, is offering pizza lovers a chance to indulge in their favourite dish and also earn some money! The challenge? Finishing off a massive 32-inch pizza and two milkshakes in under 32 minutes! The prize? €500 or RM 2,392!

The owner, Anthony Kelly, first put the impressive pie on the menu back in 2015. It was then simply called, "Ireland's Largest Pizza." Now, the 32-inch pizza has a fitting name - The Notorious Pizza!

Many have tried to take on the challenge, but so far none have been able to finish one.

At first, Anthony put up a prize of €50 (RM239) plus the pizza for free if a person managed to beat the challenge. Since then, his confidence that his challenge was unbeatable has grown and he is now offering €500 (RM2,392) to anyone who manages to finish the pizza and the two milkshakes.

Anthony said that over 100 people have taken on the challenge but all have failed miserably. The invitation to attempt the challenge is still open and the owner is quite confident that no one can beat it.

Staff from the Irish Sun and the Irish Mirror took on the challenge but were barely able to finish a quarter of the meal. Stag vs. Food's Rob, did better. He managed to finish half of the whole thing in just over half an hour! Impressive!

The challengers are allowed to choose their own toppings but many who have tried the pizza have claimed that it’s the dough itself that makes eating the pizza so hard.

Challenger, Mark McConville, spoke to Herald.ie saying, "The base was so thick, eating each slice felt like polishing off an entire batch loaf. I knew I couldn't do it after the first bite."

Rob wrote, "The length of a slice of pizza went from my elbow to the end of my fingers. Anthony, the owner, suggested I fold a slice over on itself in a bid to down two slices in one. It was the toughest slice of pizza I've ever ate. The pizza was very tasty las, but the shear amount of dough was having an effect on me."

The restaurant has even put up a Wall of Fame to celebrate those who manage to defeat the Notorious Pizza Challenge, but it has remained empty till now.

Speaking to 98fm, Anthony said, "No one has completed it yet, but we challenge the people of Dublin to take it on and be the first."

The restaurant recommends that you place your order in advance if you want to take on the challenge as preparing the pie takes a bit more time than regular pizzas.

Do you think you're tough enough to take on the Notorious Pizza Challenge?
