Located in Osaka, Japan, the Nijigen No Mori theme park is currently hosting an advanced opening for its new Godzilla attraction also known as the “Godzilla Interception Operation-National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center.”
First announced in October 2019, the attraction boasts a variety of new features including the highly anticipated zipline, a shooting game, and even Godzilla-themed dishes at the theme park’s restaurant.

The advanced opening, that’s only available until 31st August, allows fans to take a look at dioramas of various scenes from the Godzilla movies, and even check out the Godzilla suits and building sets that were used in the original films.
The museum also holds 80 different models of the King of the Monsters, along with props and prototype models of the other monsters who appeared in the movies over the years.
Besides the opportunity to zipline straight into the monster’s mouth, we’re looking forward to the range of Godzilla-themed dishes that’s available at the theme park’s restaurant.
Not only do these dishes look yummy, they’re super creative too!
Fans of course are super excited about the prospect of ziplining straight into Godzilla’s mouth!
Unfortunately, the advance opening only involves the museum’s displays, shop, restaurant, and craft workshop, at this time. The other attractions, including the zipline, are not available just yet but will be ready during the full official opening.
As to when the theme park will fully open its Godzilla museum, unfortunately, that’s still to be determined, especially with the current state of the world.
After the advanced opening ends on 31st August, the theme park will close its doors once again until the full opening.
Fans all over the world have taken to the Twitterverse to share their excitement about the new museum and the possibility of zipling straight into Godzilla’s mouth!
