One of the most annoying things to happen when you’re checking in your luggage for a flight is to be told that your luggage is overweight. And as we all know, paying for more luggage will cost you an arm and a leg.

This lady however, beat the system with her very own travel hack.

Gel Rodriguez from the Philippines recently shared her travelling experience on Facebook and gained many people’s attention.

She was told by airport staff - at the check-in counter, that her carry-on bag was above the 7kg weight limit and stood at 9kg.

Instead of leaving behind her possessions or disposing of them, Gel came up with the best solution!

Her solution: Removing 2.5kg worth of clothes from her luggage and wearing them instead!

Needless to say, her travel hack worked!

From having a 9kg carry-on luggage, Gel was able to bring down the weight to 6.5kg!

We definitely call this a win!
