We’ve heard of many different reasons for couples getting a divorce. Sometimes they fall out of love with each other or sometimes they can’t see past each other’s differences, and sometimes the reasons are even more severe.
But what we’ve never heard about is a couple getting a divorce because the husband loved his wife too much… Which is exactly what happened to this couple.

According to Khaleej Times, a woman has sought a divorce from her husband at the Shahriah court in Fujairah because “his love was too much for her to bear.”
The fawning husband cooked, cleaned, swept and loved his wife passionately but she in turn felt suffocated by his affection and has decided to seek a divorce from him.
“He never yelled at me or turned me down,” the woman told the court. “I was choked by extreme love and affection. He even helped me clean the house.”

The woman, a Gulf national, also noted that he would sometimes cook for her and that they never argued throughout the year-long marriage.
She complained that her husband had turned her life into a living nightmare because he was so kind to her and showered her with gifts.
“I long for one day of dispute, but this seems impossible with my romantic husband who always forgave me and showered me with gifts,” she said.
“I need a real discussion, even an argument,” the wife noted. “Not this hassle-free life of obedience.”

According to the husband, he feels like he has done nothing wrong.
“I wish to be a perfect and kind husband,” he said.
When his wife complained that he had put on weight, the husband immediately began a strict diet and exercised to get back in shape. He ever fractured his leg from his efforts to look good for her.
The husband asked the court to advice his wife to withdraw the divorce filling.
“It’s not fair to judge a marriage from the first year,” he said. “Everybody learns from their mistakes.”

The court has decided to adjourn the case in order to give the couple a chance to reconcile and work things out between them.
