Tom Holland made good on his promise to meet a young Marvel fan who is a real-life superhero himself.

Bridger Walker went viral last year after he saved his sister's life from a dog attack at just six-years-old, and recently Bridger had the opportunity to hang out with Tom Holland, Zendaya and more on the Spider-Man: No Way Home set.

The boy suffered from major injuries after his heroic act and needed 90 stitches on his face alone. When asked why he protected his sister, he said “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me”.

That is the sweetest thing a brother could say…and do!

Bridger’s bravery not only captivated the world, it also caught the attention of the members of the Avengers last year — including Captain America's Chris Evans and Iron Man's Robert Downey Jr.

This year, Bridger was lucky enough to be able to meet the Spider-Man actor face-to-face after Tom promised him via a video call that the boy could come to the filming of the next Spider-Man instalment.

And Tom sure kept his promise!

The actor and the crew of No Way Home dedicated some time from their busy schedule to meet Bridger, pose for some photos while in his Spidey outfit, and even took him on a real-life web swing!

Not only did the now seven-year-old get to meet Tom, he also had the opportunity to meet some of the other Spider-Man: No Way Home cast including Zendaya! Now that’s a bonus!

Taking to Instagram, Bridger's father Robert Walker, shared pictures and videos of the special day and thanked everyone involved for helping his son meet one of his heroes.

"When we first arrived on set, I was a little apprehensive that once the 'curtain was pulled back' that the magic of the movies would be lost for the kids," he wrote.

"The opposite was true! Tom, Zendaya, Harry, @lifeisaloha, @tonyrevolori, and the entire cast/crew made our kids feel like stars.”

"They don't just act the part of friendly neighborhood heroes - that's what they truly are.

"The look on the kids' faces was priceless when we rounded the blue-screen to see Tom, in full costume, high above the set on a light post.

"It was emotional to see him wave at the kids like he was the one that was supposed to be excited - not the other way around."

Robert shared that Tom and Zendaya showed incredible 'grace' and 'kindness' to his kids and that the MJ actor even complimented his daughter's nails. Aww!

"I don't know if [Zendaya] will ever know how much that simple act means to me - to see my sweet daughter light up with self-confidence and joy," he wrote.

According to Robert, Tom’s younger brother, Harry was their guide on the No Way Home set for the day and noted that Tom and Harry are some of the most 'humble and gracious young men in all of Hollywood'.

He added that Bridger had an incredible time getting to hang with everyone and had nothing but praise for everyone involved in making the day so special.

"People who were willing to stop a very busy day of shooting to make my little boy smile, and give him a chance to 'web-swing' with his hero," he said.

"Thank you again to everyone who played some role in Bridger's special day 'hanging' with Spider-Man."

We’re so happy that Bridger got to meet his hero and hang out on set! The real-life superhero deserves all the good things in life for being a brave young man!
